Background:
In 1991 I lived in the hills in Oakland. Our home was on Broadway Terrace which is a road leading into the hills.
That year there was a HUGE firestorm which was said to have burned 2000F and travelled very fast from house to house. It literally melted homes down to absolutely nothing but flat muck. Even brick was completely melted down to the ground in the intense heat.
