Data is backed up as it happens by keystroke. This feature simply records changes only. When retrieving a backup from Live data one must go to a certain time during that day and restore it. This is a great feature which can only be offered via online backup.
This is advantageous for programmers and those who want to roll back to a certain time frame after backup has already happened.
